"Dance is the hidden language of the soul" – Martha Graham

For some; it is 'dance like nobody's watching', and for others; it is 'dance like everybody is watching'. At TDA we recognise each individual dancer's needs and provide a fun, nurturing learning environment in which our students feel comfortable, valued, and challenged to achieve their own personal goals. We strive to draw passion and soul from our students, encouraging a love of dance whilst building on fitness, self-discipline, flexibility, strength and technique. We also offer a strong mentorship program which gives our dancers the ability to gain leadership skills and become role-models for our younger students, as well as positive members of their community.

At TDA we believe that dance is for all and that, regardless of your age or skill level, or whether you want to dance professionally or dance around your living room, you deserve to have fun and develop your skills in a positive, caring environment that promotes respect, encouragement and collaboration. By integrating respect rituals and a healthy mind/body approach into our teaching program, we encourage our students to respect themselves as well as others, providing them with skills that will serve them well in all aspects of life. We also strive to develop strong relationships with parents and carers by providing good communication and a safe, supportive, family-friendly environment.
